It was clean and the staff were very polite, beds were exceptionally comfortable. All in all room was elegant and impressive; also provided a bathtub. The view was PARTICULARLY NICE btw. Wonderful and excellent location right on the harbor, met every demand.

A cozy harbor retreat
Booked a last-minute stay and was kinda surprised! The room was super spacious, almost like a suite, and really comfy. Loved chillin' by the gas fireplace with a view of the harbor. Food options nearby were awesome, especially Half Moon Bay Brewery. Just wish the heater and AC didn't have that weird setup-kinda annoying to deal with. A lovely stay!

There was no mention of the spa being renovated, which is as far as I'm concerned, false advertising. We went to this hotel specifically for the use of the spa as we have been travelling for 3 months with a toddler and felt this would be our treat...it was the monst expensive hotel of our whole trip but we chose it for the luxuries, which included the spa. We were informed after we checked in that the spa wasn't available. We could try and book treatments but they took no responsibility for it other than to offer us free food and drink...which is nice but no where near as getting pampered. We had one day in which we could recuperate and we couldn't. It was very disappointing indeed.
The fact that they do not ell you in advance that the spa is not available The fact that the hotel staff state they can only be responsible for the 'hotel' and cannot answer for the spa even though it is advertised as a hotel and spa. The fact that there was no compensation for such mis advertising.

Just a good match for taking strolls in Half Moon Bay with excellent value for money. The bar staff was really friendly and made our visit enjoyable. Make sure to check the dining options nearby since the facilities on-site may be limited.
